Dear summer, I wrote to say good bye. So much for happy days, so much for running around the ground for it is time to toil the land and be serious with life. so much for my escapades in the back door, no more drunken lass around town no more puking in a corner so much for a dizzy way home, and the guilt for arrogance and shame. thank you i thank you for picking me up when vomit was all over me Thank you for the act of friendship and tolerance, for understanding the oddity in me i'd be soon all packed up so much roads to be taken and somewhere along old friends will still be seein' see you when i get back
